For anybody who is curious,

I'd like to explain why there is more to my gallery than wiping people's faces off in Photoshop.

I've been fascinated with the concept of facelessness - being deprived of one of the most personal symbols of identity an individual has.

I'm intrigued by such questions as:
:bulletblack: What challenges would such a person face in day-to-day life?
:bulletblack: If they weren't always faceless, what difficulties would they have in adapting to their new state?
:bulletblack: What would be their priorities in life?
:bulletblack: How would they express themselves to the world around them?
:bulletblack: How would they interact with others?
:bulletblack: How would they be treated by "normal" people around them?
:bulletblack: What would happen if they came in contact with another person facing the same issues (i.e. faceless)?

Side note : As this is obviously a fictional condition, I personally am going to take a leap of logic and not focus on the technicalities of eating and breathing etc. Let's just assume that it doesn't even happen. Like people going to the bathroom in a Jane Austen novel.

I aim to address these questions and more as I expand my gallery - using the artist's comment section to provide some context for each image, I hope to produce vignettes that will each explore some small facet of this concept.

Like I said, for anybody who is curious.

tl;dr :

There are lots of people without faces in my gallery. Pic + artist's comment = short story.
